Hungerford Investigative Services is owned and operated by Scott L. Hungerford. Mr. Hungerford has been involved in the security and investigative industry since 1987. Since 1994 he has operated Hungerford Investigative Services and prior to that he served as an armed officer for a nuclear power plant. He received his B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He has also received continuing education in the investigative field including the Reid Technique of Interview and Interrogation and numerous other seminars and training programs. Mr. Hungerford began his investigative career in 1987 while serving as an intern investigator for the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee working with indigent defendants incarcerated at the Milwaukee House of Correction. He is actively involved in the community having served as a mentor for the Manitowoc County After-Prison Care Program and a past volunteer with the CASA Program (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the county circuit court working with victims of abuse and neglect. Mr. Hungerford is a past Board Member of PAWLI (Professional Association of Wisconsin Licensed Investigators). He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Fox Valley Technical College teaching courses in Introduction to Private Investigation and security related courses.
Mr. Hungerford has gained extensive knowledge in many facets of the investigative industry having conducted thousands of investigations in numerous areas of investigation. He continues to stay knowledgeable in the industry by participating in ongoing training that keeps Hungerford Investigative Services on the cutting edge of technology and investigative techniques.
